Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)

The FBI is the acknowledged leading investigative authority of the United States Department of Justice. In addition to that role, the FBI also provides investigative resources and assistance to other federal, state, and local law enforcement entities. The law enforcement presence of the FBI is located in offices strategically situated throughout the United States and overseas.

The FBI’s website is a treasure trove of credible and documented information related to current and past investigations, locations of stateside and overseas office locations, historical archives, their “most wanted list,” blogs, statistics, and more. I have researched this website for information for many of my academic papers at UNLV and UC.
